The Dark Arts of Misogyny
Drawing on his own childhood experiences, poet Stephen Murray delivers a powerful and often hilarious seminar that challenges the everyday language that normalises misogyny, homophobia, racism, and violence. Through storytelling, poetry, and stand-up comedy, students are inspired to think differently, speak up, and change the narrative.
Poetry & Spoken Word Workshops
Creative and accessible two-hour workshop designed for Transition Year and Junior Cycle students. Perfect for CBA1 and CBA2 preparation, it gives students a practical toolkit to create their own written or spoken word pieces, using simple but powerful tricks of rhetoric and language.
Animation Workshops
A hands-on introduction to stop-motion animation using paper cut-outs. Students design characters, build simple sets, and create short animated films using accessible tools.
He crafts workshops like a wizard, magnetises us with meaningful graphics and makes even the most disengaged students get active, excited and involved.
